As well as releasing the N-Gage application for the N78 and 6210 Navigator, Nokia has also updated the app to version 1.10(1345) for all compatible phones. To get the updated version: open the N-Gage app, select "Options" and then "Check For Updates", then select your phone model from the list and follow the on-screen instructions (don't worry about any messages saying you've already got the installer, just say yes to everything). Note that the new version is not compatible with certain firmware versions on the N81 or N81 8GB, check the official N81/N81 8GB download page for more details.

There's no obvious difference from previous versions, but presumably it cures some behind-the-scenes bugs. Also, we've just heard that the new version should cure some bugs which caused problems on the N85.

If you can't see the N85 version on the "Check For Updates" page, try going to the mobile site in your phone's web browser instead, which does have the new N85 version. You can get to it at the address n-gage.mobi/d (note there's no "www").
