The AAN End-of-Year Reader Survey

Published by at

It's nearly the New Year, and to mark the occasion All About N-Gage is asking you our readers to take part in a simple two-part survey: the first poll asks which phone you are using to play N-Gage games, the second poll asks which upcoming N-Gage game of 2009 you're most looking forward to. Now, where did we put that champagne bottle?

Regarding the choice of games on the 2009 list, all of the titles have been officially announced or confirmed by Nokia themselves. We've left out five titles (Speed Racer, Dark Knight, Super Mah Jong, Super Slam Ping Pong, World Rally Championship) which we haven't heard anything about in a long time.

The status of Worms World Party is very unclear, it was officially announced and had an official trailer released, and was released on the original gen N-Gage receiving extremely good reviews (one major gaming site told people to buy an original gen N-Gage just to play WWP). Clearly this is a game that would suit the new N-Gage platform well, and we'd love to see it released ASAP.

The next gen version seemed to be on the brink of release for a very long time, but for whatever reason it is now "indefinitely postponed" though not actually cancelled. It seems to be being held up because of a financial or legal dispute between THQ (the third party publisher which owns Worms) and Nokia (the N-Gage platform holder), so in the hope of nudging the parties into resolving this situation, we've included WWP as an option.
