They're also partly funded by Nokia, fully compatible with every Symbian OS smartphone in the last few years and the always excellent E-series blog has just published an eloquent Widsets write-up.

Media Center to Smartphone
Makayama has announced Mobile TV Center 1.0. A world's first, it lets you watch recorded TV shows on more than 500 mobile devices, using your Windows Media Center.
