Don't forget the Support knowledge base!

Just a note to remind everyone of our Support knowledge base. This was set up earlier this year as a replacement for the old FAQs and contains hundreds of common (and not so common) questions and answers for devices from all Symbian platforms. Free Tetris for 3rd Edition

Maybe it's because I still feel S60 3rd Edition device owners are starved of good games that I've gotten excited over the release of the freeware S-Tris 2 by Elements Interactive. It plays well, doesn't use up huge amounts of RAM and is available for every other mobile device under the sun...

Another useful mobile portal

You may have already bookmarked my own 3-Lib web guide, but there's another mobile web portal on the block, 247mini, run by recent Nokia E61 convert Shaun McGill. It's pretty impressive, too, and well worth bookmarking from any PDA or smartphone.

Battle of the TyTNs

It's Grid time again - I've recently had in for review the HTC TyTN, the major new player on the communicator scene, and have added it to the Grid, along with numerous other score tweaks. Can Windows Mobile swing it for you or will a Symbian OS device still come out tops?

1 Billion Opera Mini Pages - and review of Version 2

Opera recently announced that more than one billion pages have been viewed with its JME browser (i.e. 'runs on anything') Opera Mini. To celebrate, Ewan reviews Opera Mini 2 and concludes that, for his usage, it is the perfect mobile browser.

PC Suite update time again

Thanks to the E60 Blog for the heads-up over a new version of Nokia's PC Suite. v6.81 promises bug fixes, prettier windows and an 'improved mobile music experience with Nokia Music Manager'. Harumph - but will it now let us access an online CD database? Comments welcome!
