well everyone can have their own opinions...if it's a nokia or siemens or Se u like and u wu buy others even if others are better, that's great cos obviously the company has succeeded in biulding a relationship wif u and u r a loyal customer...
but dun pass unnecessary and irrelevant remarks without even seeing/touching/fiddling wif the fone. period. happens all the time especially to nokia just bcos it's #1.

I agree with you that the SX1 is a superior piece of Hardware compared to the Nokia 6600 except for the TFT LCD Screen, where as the SX1 sports the TFD one. I also want to know what is the difference between the two? is it noticeable?
The crucial factor is the launch date of the SX1 and the 6600. and the price of both compared to the P800.
I personally think that the SX1 has an edge over the 6600 as far as Radical, yet usable Design.

Superior piece of Hardware?Yes,but since the release date has been probably moved to Q1 2004 the SX1 has very slight chances of success.Only Nokia will probably release two or three Symbian devices on the market this year,what about the other manufacturers?

Apparently the SX-1's display was changed from TFD to TFT about 2 months ago. 😊

It's is going to look pretty cruddy sitting on teh shelf next to the 6600, with it running the old S60 and the 6600 running in different themes looking a whole lot better.
moamoa,the SX1 MIGHT fail,but the only reason for that would be the delay and not themes support in Series 60 2.0(If you want themes,install sLauncher).I would trade themes and MIDP 2.0 in the blink of an eye for stereo output.What do you think,what's the percent of Series 60 phone owners that actually know that their phone runs an OS named Symbian and an UI named Series 60?I bet its a lot less then the percent of those who know what a FM radio and what an mp3 player is.

Also my friend weeks ago complaint to me why his battery runs out preety fast, so i hold the MENU button and there are lots of applications running in the background so i told him that this phone can do multitasking. He replied MULTI what!!!!

Most people just look phones out of the Box
1. SX-1 -- WOW!!! the phone can put MP3 and hear RADIO
2. 6600 -- same like 7650 but it's a NOKIA
90% of symbian phone holders simply don't know what they have.
And it doesn't matter if they are Nokia, Sony Ericsson, Siemens, Samsung...
