hey guys I have some problems with my phone like receiving texts .. I wanna format after all these threads here could you advice me to do it ? any pre steps I should do before the format I wanna be sure that I won't throw my phone? My 6600 won't continue to boot and a white screen just pop up..and from what i've read reformatting should solve the prob...but my other problems are the phonebook,messages and calendar.
if the Deep reset could bring it back to factory setting is it possible in any way if i could retrieve those valuable information, which i save from my phone, before i reset it? thank you so much!
factory setings? do you mean it will come back in the state where we buy new handphone (have some basic tools), or it will erase all so it would looks like PC DOS mode ? 😊

2. Backup your contacts list and personal files to MMC memory card.

4. Press and hold 3 keys; Green dial key, * Star key, no. 3 key on keypad and then press the power on/off to swtich on the 6600 phone.
Remember, do not let go the 3 press and hold keys until you see a formatting word screen show!
5. After a few minutes when the Full phone formatting completed, your 6600 will back to original system and factory settting.

I was facing problem of
1. Phone is too slow
2. When clicked on "Gallary ", its only poping up the window "Opening files" and nothing has happened .... it will remain on the same display ..even though u waited for 2 hrs or so
3. in Connect. setting .. if u clicked on "Bluetooth" option .. Bluetooth window comes for a sec and then disappears ... Nothing can happened afterward even u clicked bluetooth option again ... which restrict me from turning on the Bluetoooth .. which is only way to communicate with PC with Nokia 6600
So i decided to format the cell fon ...
1. I have formated the my Nokia 6600 using *#7370* ... But problem remained same
2. So, I have formated using Green Dial Key + 3 + * keys combination .. but again problem remained same .....
(In above 2 condition, MMC is not in the fone)
I would like to know ... What I should do on it ....

You already do what�s possible!
Another clue, it�s check if you use the last firmware inside (only on a Nokia Service).
