Change Fonts for S60

yah it just about all the troubleshooting.

i tried on 2 7610s

download modern.sis

transfer to phone

installed on phone memory

restart phone

both phones do not have the font updated but in c:\systems\fonts there is a modern.gdr file

i used the fontremover uninstalled for both phones

restart phone

install modern.sis to phone memory again

restart phone but still no fonts...

this is driving me crazy... where have i gone wrong?!?!?

This driving me crazy too.
Just Read the 3 and 4th Page of this thread carefully and u will get it
it just a small job.

yes from my last post it's correct? can let me know which part i go wrong?

Sometimes you just have to give it a break so it all falls into place, also accept the fact that it just wouldnt want to work on your phone. Just leave it alone and proceed with life. 😃

Yes try format and then try installing them
just install sis nothing else forget abt folfer and forget abt .gdr files
just install modern.sis and restart

i want iron maiden font for my 7610.. please some1 who made modern and tahoma will also know how to convert iron maiden font! PLEASE! kamalayan where did u get the fonts? do u know how to make them for phones?

Have u tried after format.
I think u r making a mistake somewhere that why u r not able to do it.

Ok. Just Do last Time
Note Following setps
1. Delete If any file related to font in "Application manager" like Modern.sis or like that.
2. Delete any folder or file created in"c" as C/System/Fonts or Font
3. Restart the phone.
4. Just Install Only the Modern.sis in Phone Memory and Restart.
And u will sure get the Font Changed.

i've tried that as well mae sure my phone had nothing of the fonts in folders as well in app manager and restarted phone before installing again.

after the last reboot the fonts are still not there.

How can I create .gdr fonts by myself?

thats wot i'd like to know too! how do i make my own font in .sis format?

I've been wanting to increase the size of the font ever since i got it. Any ideas or any software to increase the size other than chaning it? Its pretty small. Thanks!

Just check out Badgers post and try the font viewer program please. 😉

The files under this link http://www.geocities.com/zavorine/epoc/fontstore.htm doen't work in Series 60
i think they are made for series 80 and the freeware program from other site is good it contacts approx 7 diff fonts but when i click install and then reboot nothing give any effect
fonts remain the same.
