I think I've only found one Major problem with my N73 so far.
When I plug in my earphones (using the nokia adaptor) I can hear some feeback noise even though nothing is running and playing. When I start playing audio I can still hear this noise in the background. Anyone else notice this?
It seems the N73 is crying out for a major firmware update. Hope Nokia releases one soon.
I have a Pioneer Bluetooth Kit ( built into the head unit of the Pioneer Stereo )
My 6680, 7610 Samsung SGH 500 and SE M600i all work with it.
My N73 doesnt work for the audio - starts, dials and terminates the call from the kit but no in call audio.
Here's an annoying bug:
When email headers are downloaded, when some that are not read (i.e. actual email not downloaded, for example, spams), if they are selected to be Delete from Server, the email app will crash and exit.
The fix is to download all email, then delete from server.
This really needs to be fixed.
Another bug with email, this time with SMTP setup (under Outgoing e-mail):
If the port is not the default, entering a number more than 3 digits would make the OK button disappear. Therefore, I can't enter a port number such as 8889, which is used for some email servers as the alternative port.
This is more of a feature request related to the Nokia Flickr upload:
Currently there is no way to specify the privacy of images to be uploaded (they're all public). For this tool to be useful, it needs to provide the options for setting the privacy, and the photo set to places the images in.
another problem, n73 makes a hissing sound when the backlight on, which causes videos and sound clips to make a hissing sound...😡
also, when taking pics, the dark spots go purple...😡

I dont hear that sound on my N73. But another problem, is the phone forgets about memory card inside. Need to do a remove card by software, without remotion phisical, and it reads the card again.
i can hear the hissing as well

Hi all,
I recently bought the N73 off of someone and could not re-set the Yahoo Go ID on the handset regardless of what i tried...........until i did a master reset on the phone and now Yahoo Go is no longer isntalled on my N73!!!
Any idea how to get it back on the phone? The handset IMEI is not on my contract so 3 won't do anything as it is not in my name
Any ideas?
I'd of said go to yahoo and download it, so, i did

hi I want to install Oxygen Phonebook Manager to my N73 but when I install the app is says "installation of ..... not supported" does anyone have an idea what might be wrong?
It must be for S60v3 version.
Oxygen Phone Manager II for Symbian OS Phones should be installed on the PC, then the phone should be connected to the program, and in this way you may edit the phonebook, To-DO list and Calender, Gallery, Message section fro your PC in the phone.
Please specify your connection type if you need connection instructions.
[QUOTE=stuclark]Re: crashing problems - there's a known problem with some (most) ringtones crashing the phone if the 3-d Tones options are activated. If you turn this off, then the phone won't crash when playing ringtones.
I've got a very similar problem with my N73 and I've tried turning off the 3D tones without any success. Almost every time i recieve a call the ring tone breaks down really badly and sounds like it's running in slow motion! I got rid of my N70 after a year of suffering with exactly the same problem. After various firmware updates and sending the phone back to Vodafone for repair nothing fixed the problem.
The thought of putting up with this for the duration of a brand new 18 month contract is not an appealling one. Anyone else ever experienced this with either the N70 or N73 and if so, is there a way to stop it happening?
Firmware version: 2.0628.001

If after several firmware upgrades, the problem still the same, is a damage unit, isnt it? Try change with the garantee process!

Does anyone know if the intermittent Bluetooth connection drop issue is fixed by the 003 firmware?
I have this problem with both Motorola and Nokia headsets.
Somebody reported in a different forum on this site that the N73 holds its connection to a GPS after the upgrade.
The 03 update fixes *most* of the bluetooth connection issues, but it is NOT a more stable firmware.
My recomendation is to wait for the next big firmware from Nokia, due roughly at the end of the month.
How do You know, that is on end of the month?
I've just got one of these on Vodafone...
..does anyone know where I can get Yahoo Go?
It's not at the Yahoo Go website (and yet it says it's compatible - GRR)

On your N73 open "Downloads" (probably in the Apps folder).
Refresh the list and you should see Yahoo Go! at the start of the list. Install from there.

OK I just tried it myself and found it was taking 25 mins to download and install so I cancelled. It would obviously be better if we could download the installer over regular broadband to PC and install from there.
Anyone know where to find it?

When running java apps I can't turn down the volume.
The secondary video camera (for video calls) has a lot of noise and seems to be white balanced for outdoor use and stucked. The video are VERY red indoors.
Blue noise on main cam in low light conditions.
When I have made my own shortcut configurations to the shortcut botton (the right one) I can't do any changes to it anymore.
Edit: The DRM protection stops med from sending my own files to another phone, stupid!
