Mms is kinda pointless when you can email pictures pretty easily. Its not really something that wud turn me off this phone. Any word on this S60 emulator? Is it true?
Nokia N900 - Maemo 5 powered mobile computing
looks like this could be the handset that brings me back to Nokia.
first of all tons of thanks to Nokia for early announcement... im saved from mistake of buying N97.
Now reading all 10 pages long comments (yes i actually did) m still not clear about my favorite section... n thats mobile gaming...
i looooooove mobile gaming. but there is no official words from Nokia, even the Maemo nokia site is quite about it...though they have covered all the (calender, conversasion, updates n what not) features...
nothing mentioned about motion sensor gaming?(though it has proximity sensor).. nothing about N-Gage engine(though it has 3d acceleration)..
where the hell is gaming dudes... 1 GB RAM (including 256+virtual) should give the blasting platform but no such sign?
i don't understand this strange marketing strategy from Nokia?
they want this device to have desktop like experience then they must include this part and HIGHLIGHT as well..
comments on this are expected from all of u...
The N900 is a great phone with incredible features-

I especially love it how they say besides all the other features, it "naturally has an application for voice calls".. For we may soon forget that to be the primary purpose of a phone with all the enhancement.
Guess no one's complaining 😊

With such powerful hardware we can kick off gaming with emulators. The problem with the old tablets the cpu was not powerful enough so games were sluggish. This should change for a start...
Sadly reading the comments at maemo.org there won't be N-Gage support a long time but you never know. Nokia is now using this new platform for high end phones we may get lucky...
There are tons of games for the old Nokia tablets. It's just a matter of time before all these great games will appear on the N900 especially with the much improved hardware.
Hi guys! I'm an avid fan of Nokia and Symbian phones from Philippines, and I'd like to share my interest in exploring new features in mobile technology particularly this new device and its Maemo platform for mobile communicators.
I'd like to witness how it performs well as a device, mobile communicator, and internet tablet, and be able to know what lies behind this new mobile OS.
I also want to know how worthy to have this device over the other existing and upcoming competitors and rivals in its level, and chat and meet people with the same interest.
I hope we can share each and everyone's knowledge on this stuff among all of electronic gadgets we've had. http://www.Nokia-N900.org is nice place to hangout.

wow nice review. i'm pretty impressed with my n900. great processor, gps and email are great for my business. all around great unlocked phones. the facebook and games keep my wife happy and the nokia apps are great for my daughter on long trips. way way better than our old unlocked htc phones. not sure if i like how thick it is and it's kind of heavy but i really like the slide out keyboard and the battery life is long enough to last all day. the web browser allows me to keep in touch with reality on my long weeks. got our last 3 unlocked mobile phones at gsmallover.com and were pretty happy. 8 out of 10 stars.
I checked out the reviews of the phone and it seems great.I love its all features. Its pretty powerful in some of the functionality.I will get one soon.
