well, i am going to buy a phone, im choosing between 7650 and 3650, i must say that at first, i really like 7650 but after reading some articles about it... im starting to look at 3650... which is a better buy? 7650 or 3650?

yes but bear in mind tht the 3650 is the newer phone so it will hav newer software maybe some newer features.... obviosly the MMC but videos...... and no slide to worry about gettin messed up or lose or nething... i hav to admit the 7650 looks more professional but i man in my local orange shop told me the 7650 is actauly being discontitnued and i was told this abouta month back......
7650 DISCONTINUED? wheeew... thats new. really? well, if its true, then why would i get a phased-out phone? it means poor support both on hardware and software. nokia's big mistake about 7650 is the lack of memory expansion...but i agree, 7650 looks and feel better than 3650.

I thought the 3650 was really ugly from photos on the internet but now I have one in front of me it is nicer than the 7650 IMO.
Dont get me wrong,its an excelent device,i might get one(I cant decide between the p800 and the 3650) but from my point of view,the 7650 is Mila Jovovic compared to Christina Richie(The 3650 has better brests 😃 )
I really don't like the 3650 as well as many of my friends (especially the females). Although technicaly superior to the 7650 (but not much) it is quite ugly. If nokia really wanted to make the 3650 a replacement for the 7650 then it should be much more superior, eg. More cpu power, more inbuilt memory,if not smaller at least the same size and not only to cover the mistakes it has done with the 7650(memory,bluetooth,camera). But the strange thing is that if as nokia claims, 3650 is a youth phone, then why this silly keyboard layout (considering that young people send a lot of sms). And also why the RAM is less. But most importantly, how famous will be after n-gage will be released. 3650 is a mystery for me and most importantly another mistake of nokia. Just hope that their policy will change...

Personally, I'd rather go for the 3650. The memory is very important coz one thing i like about the phone is the camera and the video. I can now store lots of pictures and videos without having to worry about the lack of memory. I have the 128mb MMC now and everything's great! 😊 If you're after the functionality, then go for 3650.

its true, when it comes to looks, its a matter of taste. for me, 3650 shows individuality... 7650 is more on the classic side.
but is it really worth sacrificing the keypad over the features of 3650?
for those who owns the phone, how long did it took you be familiar with the keypads? were you able to type as fast as the standard keypads?
Ther ram of 3650 is exactly the same with the 3650.The cpu is FASTER..and u can see that from the firtst day.Either on the sms,,gprs..and certain functions..like games while u can send through infrared something.The keypad is quite great..After a week u can write like a normal keypad.Generally speaking after having.80 photos...24 videos...10 apllications..wavs for melodies...i will never look back.Best phone ever.Memphis trexa parto kai ase tin kritiki...bye
If it is the same then how much free mem do you have when you first boot the phone? And talking about speed the cpu is the same with 7650. Only 7650 with firmwares below 4.Xx are slower than 3650. And i am not going to buy this silly phone "filaraki". I only have 7650 for 3 months and even if i wanted to buy a new one and didn't care about the keyboard i would definitely wait for siemens sx1.

The CPU is not faster.It is a 104MHZ arm,the 7650 has the same one.
Btw:I can play games,etc etc,and do some other stuff in the background like sending stuff trough bluetooth.
to end this never-ending furom i will simple say two things:
taste and style
for every person is diffrent for example i think the 3650 looks much better but the 7650 is also amazingly good so i say choose for yourself and dont follow any advise(only this one)
1. It's gorgeous, blue glow-in-the-dark keypad, nice style, nice design, innovative
2. MMC support, couldn't live without it, the main phone memory goes down to 0 in no time otherwise.
3. Better camera, bluetooth etc etc.
And on the note of the keypad, it took me 3 days to learn to use it just as fast as any other phone, and the T9 is really good once you teach it some basic ways you write.

actually, im just looking for reasons why im going to buy 3650 over 7650...
The simple reason for me would be the MMC, that's really important, you'll find, no matter the design of the phone, MMCs are what you will need if you want to use your phone to other things than making calls or typing out sms 😊
Also, if I'm not wrong, the 3650 is cheaper than the 7650, with just about the exact same tech-specs, and a lot more extra functionality for the 3650, like bluetooth headset etc etc.
Well, anyways, people either hate the design of the 3650 or love it.. I love it, so I'm biased, sorry 😃
I would suggest buying the 3650 just because it has an MMC and its newer then the 7650.
I dont think that the 3650 is cheaper then the 7650 right now.
Allso,the camera is not better,the bulit in software is,which is a great plus because you dont have to install additional apps( More space).

in here, at manila, philippines, 3650 = $338 (us dollars) 7650 = $357 (us dollars) and P800 = $676 (us dollars)
3650 is cheaper by $20, and p800 is waaaaay out!!

pretty much my thought. MMC opens up a whole world of possibilities.
anyway the only downfalls of 3650 can be overcome..
ie. keypad - u can get used to it
ie. cover - u can change EASILY
