did u said p800? well, thats my dream phone but its too expensive!!
in here, at manila, philippines, 3650 = $338 (us dollars) 7650 = $357 (us dollars) and P800 = $676 (us dollars)
3650 is cheaper by $20, and p800 is waaaaay out!!
so, i have to choose between 7650 and 3650. well i have to choose between looks or more memory.... hmmmm
funny.. in auz 7650 is cheapest at about $750aud; then 3650 is about $900-$1000aud; and far out is P800 at $1500 roughly.. "Price on request".
^ at mobile stop 3650 is $867 while 760 is $ 926

Dont get me wrong, its an excelent device,i might get one(I cant decide between the p800 and the 3650) but from my point of view, the 7650 is Mila Jovovic compared to Christina Richie(The 3650 has better brests 😃 )
u r sayin dat christina ricci is better right?
Like i said, the 3650 has better brests, well switch that to bigger only.
Okay, the 7650 is priced at 5390 SEK here, and the 3650 at 4490 SEK.
That is about USD $500 vs about $400 .. so at least over here, the 3650 is still a lot cheaper than the 7650.
for those who owns the phone, how long did it took you be familiar with the keypads? were you able to type as fast as the standard keypads?
I'd say it took me only a day or two to master the keypad 😊 You just need to practice...
And for me, it was worth sacrificing the keypad with the 3650 features 😊 I was having doubts at first in buying the phone because of the keypad! But i didn't let that stop me in choosing the phone coz I was sure I can get used to the keypad after awhile. 😊 3650 is the best nokia phone available so far 😊
I am completly and utterly biased towards the 3650. I love it!
1. MMC Card
2. Video Recorder
3. BT Audio Profile (Getting the nokia handset soon 😃)
4. Blue Lights 😃
The things that I hate about the 7650:
1. Fascia can't be changed (all the 7650s I've seen, the screen is scratched to death 😛)
2. Those 'lines' on the black surround of the screen (hop you know what I'm talking about) there's something wrong with me, I just can't stand running my finger down it, its just so horrible!
Oh, I got my 3650 last monday (31st) and I'm now typing faster than I was on my 7210. But I get a lot of practise, I send about 15 SMS' a day. 😮

hmm iv actaully seeen in one or two cases where the 7650 is more expensive than the 3650 why is tht ?
i was also wonderin' why 7650 is more expensive than 3650...
i mean, there are only 2 things (2 that i think are impt) that are on 7650 are the sensors, namely: proximity and light sensors...thats it. the 3650 had better packaging plus a 16mb mmc.
do you think that 7650's casing has to do something with the price? well, i dont know... but here at manila, 7650 are selling like hotcakes! thats one of the reason why i wanted 3650.. its because everybody got 7650.
most of us here are addicted to sms....well, sometimes or oftentimes, keypad does matter. but just like ya'all says, u'll get use to it.
7650 Nokia price was 699 euros and 3650 Nokia price was 450 euros.
They are aimed at different types of users.
Nokia 7650,Nokia 3650 😃
Well in my opinion a 100 or $100 price difference is stupid for an inferior phone that the 7650 is.. It might look more attractive to classic/professional users, but the fact withstands that it is inferior in technology to the 3650.
First of all,the 7650 was released long time before the 3650 was and it was a small revolution in the mobile business.
Second, the lack of MMC does not make it inferior.
Like i said, the devices are aimed at two different types of user groups.
And I'm saying they're milking out everything they can of the 7650 before they disband it altogether. 😉
Seriously, what features does it have that the 3650 that makes it aimed at another market. So far all I've found is the motion detector thingy while doing the loudspeaker mode.
I'm saying the design might look more 'squarish' and 'oldskool' but that doesn't justify a pricing at $100 more than a 3650 which is technologically superiour.
hmmjust wondering, how about the reception ??
cause now i'm using 7650 and the receprion is sucks, i wonder how is the 3650 , if it got better reception , i would like to sacrifice the "looks" for the MMc and reception :P btw here in indonesia , the price for the 3650 is higher about US$ 10 to the 7650.
(btw i dropped my 7650 quite hard last night, and that's the reason why i post this :P )
About the reception, I have no idea, I have nothing to compare to. I always have full reception everywhere I've been so far, tested with two different operators, but this mainly depends on how many gsm-stations your operator has built in your area, not the phone itself. 😊
I can say the reception is better than my old 6150 phone, that's all I have to compare to 😃
yeah i know my reception here in indonesia sucks, but different phone do have different reception strengh, in my room, i only get 1 or no bar at all when i use 7650, but when i use 8210 or siemens sl 45i, it get 2 or 3 bar !!! so i want to know wheter 3650 have better reception then 7650 or not :P anyone know , please reply :P thank you.
depends on networks
i know it's network dependant, but different phones has differetn reception power too.
Ok here is a comparison of all the symbian phones by the look and size.
I won't make any comment, only that I'll stick to my 7650.
Besides 1 picture = more than a thousand words (Unless you only care about the specs)
I know 2 people who have the 7650 and they all drooled wenn i showed them my 3650. You just have to know how important MMC's are, i went trough my phone mem in no time. I have the phone since 19 marh and i type pretty fast on it. Realplayer is also cool (i dont know if 7650 users can install realplayer). I have this very cool Matrix Revolutions trailer. On looks you have to decide for yourself, but i think the 3650 looks WAY better then the 7650. Cool blue keypad lights. 😊
My advise: Nokia3650, no doubts.
im very confused aboutthe keypads lights still... now tht most places are gettin 'official' versions out which light will stay blue or white
I think it's only asian 3650s that have a white backlight. All official english versions have blue lights.
My advice, get yourself an SPV 😊
Better go kill my self than buy an spv... I really cannot understand how they created a smart( 😃 )phone that cannot make a call... Is it so smart after all?

I agree! 😊 looks are sometimes deceiving...
Look, the best advice i can give you is to in to the shop ask to have them both on your hands and see what you really like. After that before making any bought just think how important is the memory for you( which i think you already know). If you really like the look and feel of 3650 then in for it, if not then you make a choice between beauty and tech. Of course my best advice would be NOT TO BUY A NOKIA PHONE. Nokia is not anymore creating the phones they used to, the technologically revolutionary. But they prefer to sell licenses of their user interfaces to other companies, and that's too bad. And their right on this, because they know that people will buy their phones just for the brand name on it even knowing that there are better non nokia phones. And lastly about the key layout of the 3650. You may all say that you didn't have difficulties to get used to it. But for someone who got used to a normal phone key layout for quite some time is not so easy. It's like changing the qwerty layout of the standard pc keyboards just because nokia(or any other company) says it is more fancy, trendy, nice or whateve they think. New users won't have any problem but veterans will have. And the problem is getting bigger if you'll need to use another phone.
😊 😊 😊 Different people have different tastes. And there's nothing wrong with changing the keypads... the only thing permanent in this world is CHANGE 😊 Maybe some people just want to explore and be innovative 😊 I agree with you that it's not easy to change... but if you want to get something better, then you have to take the risk and adjust to the change 😊 Anyway, let's put into mind that this is just my opinion 😊 and i definitely respect yours too!
