I did try, but I could only type numbers and not letters... and when I exit the 'editor' it doesn't save the file?
Actually I think I remember saying the editor is read only while in beta or something? Which would explain it..
Ive changed the text but it hasnt took effect on the phone. Still says launcher :-?

They're not the same app, only vaguly similar. j2k gave us all a scare earlier in the week by saying his app was 'under review'?! But, it's back under production right j2k? 😊

OPPSSS.. Change must made not on phone but on Pc.
sent launcher.ini to your PC and "hexedit" on PC. make your change and resent to 7650.
With epocware File Manager is more simple.

Ok guys some quick creations from me. Made only with some Windows 2k screenshots and paint nothing more nothing less. Expect to see more to come from me next week when I'll have access to my computer and also to adobe photoshop. I'll also have access to linux and i'll may make a skin based on kde, But I am also thinking of creating a Matrix skin, just luck of imagination for the icons but it will come soon or later...
this is my new skin, i live in spain, if i write worse sorry. hehe 😃

AS in everything published on the web is free to take, only the persons who bought a real license.
So actually all graphics are free.
I got my icons from wincustomize.com but mostly from KDE skinning sites because their icons are in PNG format.
Find a lot of icons at http://nokia.warlocks.be
They are already in epoc file format and can be easily used without to much hassle and great quality.
I cant set transparent colour for ICON 😞(((
i open in Photoshop, edit and save as GIF and set transparent colour.
in www have this .gif transparent colour but in the phone not 😞
in skin editor i set icon for assign icon and assign pallete.

Well, first of all you've got to install Skin Editor, which is for free.....
Then send your skins to your phone using a IR or BT.
Start Skin Editor - Options - Misc - Check inbox.... and save your skins.
Go to Launcher, press the option button - settings - skin (here you should find your new skins).....

One thing I truly don't understand ... why you would want your phone to look like it runs windowsXP?? When I have a choice my pc runs anything BUT! I'm very happy my phone doesn't run windows... if I wanted a phone to run windows I'd go for an spv.
Not trying to offend as the skins are very well done and look nice... but nah.. don't want people to think it's running windows.
