COD (cach on delivery) is accepted too!

Looks like i'll order one, and if it is not a P900, I won't pay, as simple as that ! 😃

Yes,its listed on t-mobile but look at the features listed under the p810: Java games and Polyphonic ringtones.

It doesn't even have pictures and wallpapers listed.

Yeah, I saw that too! A bit strange indeed... (and a shame that there is no button that says "buy online" behind the P810😃 )

Here is a new French review of the P810/P900 with loads and loads of great pictures and screenshots. 😊

The review also shows many 3'rd party P800 applications working fine on the P900.

Click HERE to read a review on the P810/900. It's in English and has a lot of pictures, screenshots and 3 ringtones

The mobile-review "review" suggest that the UK will
be the first to receive the P900 ( unlike the P800 😃)
which would be nice if it were true but frightening to
think that the P800 only appeared in any volume during
March 2003.

Expansys had the P800 listed for almost 6 months before
it was available so lets wait and see......

The next competition will be to work out the cheapest upgrade route.

does anyone know how much this will be roughly in the UK? i can disconnect my contract early (before 12 months) with the carphone warehouse insurance i have and then get this one 😃

65K colour screen and yet the same 1000mAh battery as the P800! They're having a larf!

I see a good secondary market in chargers coming up,
especially since half those in the UK are (allegedly) broken already!

Possibly a spare battery holder on the belt clips and phone holders too...
😎

hey ppl i did get the p800. nice phone. but i somehow leave all the apps runnin in the background. and there aint no option i see atleast to shut it down. i mean EG : if u use camera the hell can u exit from it ? very difficult. this is my first SE phone so chill ppl, dont expect me to know and i hate readin manual.

hey ppl can i have links to wallpapers small and big. also how to get full screen wallpaper goin on. i could not figure it out. jus too many options. so plz spare time and type my problems in. thx a lot ppl.

Its a mildly improved p800 thanks but no thanks and certainly not worth 450 + ??

slightly thinner, same camera, video recorder(camcorder app is out soon on p800).

What i cannot believe is that they have not improved the media player hardware, i had to buy an adaptor JUST TO CONTROL VOLUME!! when i listen to MP3s or watch videos.Surely a phone lke this should have a remote control on the headset that you can control pause, stop, play ff/rw etc. !!!!

I would consider upgrading if their was a very good trade in option but too be honest its not worth it !!

I will see what others bring out first or wait until the P1000!!!

I love my P800 but this just isn't a big enough leap to upgrade

You're going to think me really rude, but really, there is so much to your question, we would be here a long time. You really should do some P800 forum searches. Everything you have asked has already been answered elsewhere. As a member of some time, you really should know this.

see rb14 i dont think u are rude or nething. i am new to the p800 section here and i got some wallpapers frm the gallery as well. i wanted some more and I DID SEARCH. did not get much there since the search bring in other 1000 useless entires. i know how ppl over here go lashing when this happens, jus need a chance. so u typed all that plz search and all instead you could have typed the links to wallpapers by now so i could get some. now that i have no links my phone is gonna look default. so i am waiting for links after doing the "SEARCH". thx a lot.

Try THIS WEBSITE it has a lot of cool stuff for you to use on your P800.
Also if you have a favourite picture that you want to use on your phone you can use Photoshop and resize it to fit the screen

From what I've read on this forum you will need an app. called Tracker which will allow you to close down your apps manually

you can find a review about Tracker 3.0 HERE

You can "kill" tasks with tracker from the taskmanager (Little cog symbol), there is no built int task manager in the P800 like holding down the menu button on a 7650.

There are plently of freeware apps though, Switcher being the first one to come to mind, these are all very helpful and even let you assign a "hot key" so it opens at the touch of a button.

Hope this answers your question.

the thing about having the program running in the background is so that it's true multitasking which is what it's designed for, that after you've got it running in the background, you can switch to it really quickly after, the program is not having the exit button, i think tracker has the best memory flush tool which closes all programs apart from the system programs and then also cleans out the memory when asked to. i can't wait till tracker three comes out for the p800 coz i only use tracker for it's memory flush tool at the moment

Please don't!

The tracker discussion is sort of relevant as it will be packaged with the P900 😉
