Does anyone know how i can change the mgmaps icon? its so small and i want it to look the same size as the rest. Also it would be nice how to change icons for new folders i make in the menus, rather than jus have blank yellow folder icons. any ideas on how to do this is the simplist way??

I'd like to delete some themes I've installed on my memory card and can't as they are "Read only".
I'm using a card reader but I cannot remove this "Read only" feature.
I'd prefer not to reformat the card so any ideas wil be most appreciated.

i installed maps from nokia maps for few countries, after downloading the maps it is showing me at city level. I want to see them at street level ( i think tht is wht is advertised).can some body tell me how?

Do know how to transfer audio from the Bluetooth headset back to the phone speakers?
Lets say you were listening to music through your Bluetooth headset, but then would like to transfer the sound back to the phone speakers so others could hear. I can�t find a way to do this besides disconnecting the Bluetooth headset.
Transferring calls between phone, Bluetooth and loud speaker works ok, so there must be a way to do the same with audio (music)

Go to Darla Mack site, type on search "Delete Themes" and follow the instructions. Is easy, and you can remove all.

If you are listening to music through the bluetooth earphones, and wish to trasnfer sound to phones loud speakers.
When you wrote use the "context" button, did you mean click on "Options" while in the music player? Because there is nothing in the option menu that says "transfer to loud speaker"

Font support and you only get that with the firmware.
Once you have the fonts then you need the IME to take a romanized keyboard and parse it into double byte chars .. Chinese/Japanese etc ..

Just got a Question on the phone gallery. I recently got my N95 which rocks I do like it very much only problem I get is I find the gallery Very Very slow to load. Especially after you take a photo takes about 1 min to load the image in the gallery. So finnaly the question is......Is the phone gallery slow to load pictures? and if so is there any good symbian software to replace the image software? And is there a way to sort the photos into directories not albums. I found the Image software in the 6630 was alot better then the N95 as I could sort out the images into directories.

or possibly with your memory card .. test by saving images to internal memory .. check gallery load speed without the card loaded .. then I'd suggest formatting the card again .. reloading the images .. at one stage I tried defragging my memory card .. but gave up .. I just did a copy>PC / format / copy>phone took MUCH less time than a USB defrag.

Yeah I tried using only the phone memory when I 1st got the phone simplest way I could work it was just removing the card and running the gallery then but still slow and no quicker with newly taken photos. So ill try the firmware see if there is a newer version then I currently have. Thanks.
Oh and BTW just for your guys information on battery life ive had my phone off charge for 36 hours and counting and still have 3 bars of battery left. So with little use you can get at least 2 days. solid use I only get 1 day but thats why nokia give you a phone charger haha.

I'm in desperate search for help with the N95 camera.
when taking photos, areas of white in photos come out pink and pixelated in blotches!
Check out picture of the cat - attached.
Any help as to why this is happening & how to fix it would be much appreciated.

take a bunch of photos of a white surface at various resolutions .. check each for areas of "blotchiness" if they consistently show the same areas then I think its a physical fault with the ccd.

I've attached another example i took earlier today. This time the highest concentration of 'white' area is above the house... A much larger affected area, as you can see, a lot more pink in this one. Looks bloody terrible!

Hey just wanted to know.. that for how much time can the n95 play music with a fully chargd battery and a very little use other than music ?

Thanks for the help installed the latest firmware and seems to of fixed it....as far as I can tell the old firmware didnt keep a cache of the thumbnails of all the pics so when I would run gallery it would try and load 200 tumbnails from scratch. But now the tumbnails are almost instant and photos open instantly no longer a 1 min delay.

Not quite sure what you mean here. You're looking for zoom in/out?
If so, try "*" and "#" on keypad to zoom in/out.....

I need some help please....I'm trying to upgrade my firmware but when I use the software updater via nokia pc suit it says no update available.

Where can i get this updated..?
I'm experiencing problems when making calls...it does not always allow me to hear the person or for them to hear me. Have to end the call and redial to get connected properly.
